Reviews by <a href="http://nymag.com/arts/architecture/reviews/9-11-memorial/" target="_blank">Justin Davidson</a>, <a href="http://articles.philly.com/2011-08-28/news/29938484_1_michael-arad-memorial-car-bombing" target="_blank">Inga Saffron</a>, and <a href="http://articles.latimes.com/2011/aug/12/entertainment/la-et-memorial-hawthorne-20110812" target="_blank">Christopher Hawthorne</a> have appeared in advance of the memorial&#8217;s opening this September 11th. <strong>Libeskind&#8217;s </strong>role has also been the subject of some <a href="http://featuresblogs.chicagotribune.com/theskyline/2011/08/ground-zero-master-planner-praises-911-memorial.html" target="_blank">great</a> <a href="http://www.ny1.com/content/special_reports/911_a_decade_later/144485/9-11-a-decade-later--new-wtc-owes-many-features-to-master-planner-libeskind" target="_blank">coverage</a>. <strong>Ethel Sheffer</strong> contributed an <a href="http://www.planning.org/planning/" target="_blank">article</a>, &#8220;Ground Zero a Decade Later,&#8221; to the most recent issue of <em>Planning</em>, <em>Bloomberg Businessweek </em>featured a cover story entitled &#8220;The Saving of Ground Zero,&#8221; and <em>Architectural Record</em> includes an extensive write-up on the site in their special <a href="http://archrecord.construction.com/features/2011/New-York/" target="_blank">feature</a> &#8220;The Death and Life of a Great American City: New York 2001-2011.&#8221; Tomorrow, the Center for Architecture will host the <a href="http://cfa.aiany.org/index.php?section=calendar&amp;evtid=3515" target="_blank">conference</a> <em>Lower Manhattan Rising: Looking Toward 9/11/2021</em>, which features an excellent line-up including <strong>Arad</strong>, <strong>Dykers</strong>, <strong>Libeskind</strong>, and several other Fellows: <strong>Rick Bell</strong>, <strong>Bruce Fowle</strong>, <strong>Ernest Hutton</strong>, <strong>Jack Nyman</strong>, and <strong>Donna Walcavage</strong>.</p>
