Fellow Richard Sennett is the winner of the 2010 Spinoza Award, a biennial prize given to a distinguished scholar whose work contributes to public debate on ethics and morality; previous laureates include Edward Said and Michael Walzer. The award will be presented to Sennett at a ceremony to be held on November 24, 2010, at the Nieuwe Kerk in The Hague.
