Fellows, friends, and supporters of the Institute for Urban Design gathered at the New York studio of mOrphosis Architects to celebrate the new board of directors and chart an expansive next phase of critical urban engagement. The Institute curated a discussion about the value of institutions for Common Room, one of the 2008 winners of the New York New Practices AIA Award in New York. The panel discussion was moderated by Institute executive director Olympia Kazi and featured Damon Rich, Beth Stryker and Gwendolyn Wright.
