Board chair Michael Sorkin and executive director Olympia Kazi spoke at the XXIII UIA (International Union of Architects) World Congress. The congress titled “Transmitting Architecture” featured the Institute for Urban Design in the discussion on urban centers alongside UCM, Urban Center Metropolitano Torino; Casa della Citta’ di Catania; and SPUR, San Francisco Planning + Urban Research Association.
